Many places and many cultures

Dolf was born in The Netherlands and raised in Portugal where his musical journey began as a young drummer joining several bands in the 90's as Grunge, Rock and Metal music were booming.

Later he explored the diversified NYC music scene where he got the oportunity to meet and play with world class musicians in venues like The Bitter End and Fat Cat's while completing his studies at The Collective School of Music in NYC.

Dolf decided to return to Europe and move to Berlin, where he got involved in the local music scene and experienced the city’s versatile culture and musical styles performing and recording Modern Jazz, Soul, Jazz Fusion, Free Jazz, Alternative Rock, Electro Rock, Balkan music, Ska and Rockabilly with bands like Bella Wreck, Mattia Silli Trio, Doctor Bajan and María Angeli Trio.

Attracted by the musical diversity he moved to Spain where he participates in band projects like La Suite Bizarre, el Luís Casado Trio el Pedro Cortejoza Trio, el Miguelo Delgado Trio, Los Hartibles Blues Band and leads his own bands: Grolardog, Wolf n Dolf Quartet and Power of Three and E.M.A. Event Music Assembly.

In September of 2017 he founded "The Drum School" creating a specialized Centre for Drum Set and Percussion where he wishes to share his knowledge and experience with others.

Dolf is currently part of various international musical projects in different music genres and combinations of musical styles. A working studio and live Musician.
